This initiative was organized by Adam Broomberg in partnership with the non-profit Artists at Risk and Produced by BERLIN recom ART on the backdrop of the full-scale War in Ukraine and launched on 15th March 2022. It gathered artists from around the world willing to support artists in Ukraine and neighbouring countries.
Featured contemporary artists included Hito Steyerl, Pierre Huyghe, Nan Goldin, Issac Julien, Thomas Struth, Tacita Dean, Rosemarie Trockel, Luc Tuymans, Elizabeth Peyton, Thomas Demand, Matthew Barney, Jeremy Deller, Laure Prouvost, Rirkrit Tiravanija, Lisa Brice, Julian Schnabel, Camille Henrot, Subodh Gupta, Sam Durant, Fiona Banner, Anne Imhof, Cyprien Gaillard, and Thomas Hirschhorn.
Each artist has donated an artwork as an open edition print which was sold for a fixed price of 200€ each and raised more than €200,000 to non-governmental organizations.
